Hi! Hello!

My name is Ava, I'm 21, and an artist based in Portland. Ever since I could hold a pen I just wanted to draw, and draw some more.

Having sparked a desire to share my experience with recovering from an eating disorder in my high school Studio Art Class, I have developed a collection of 13 artworks over the past few years. My work is sold as stickers to be a statement of self-love and acceptance that you can proudly display wherever you go. I intend to protest the beauty standards that cause so much pain amongst many of us by using stickers as a way to start conversations about body acceptance and inspire others to embrace their unique selves. My artwork highlights the functionality of the body, recognizing its intrinsic biological beauty and strength.

I explore a new understanding that my personality and the functionality of my body is a lot more interesting than my body shape, or where fat exists on it. I hope everyone can respect their body for its intrinsic biological beauty and strength.
Oh... and when I am not thinking about how my body looks, I can appreciate the joy of life around me so much more. I think it's like putting on glasses for the first time when you didn't even know you needed them.

I release new sticker designs with the plan to continue sharing art that empowers us to exist in our bodies with comfort and ease.
